Expedition Leader
The Expedition Leader works closely with the group and helps to develop leadership skills with the students while on expedition. They will also liaise with our in country providers, lead teachers and our UK office to ensure the smooth running of any given expedition.

Our Expedition Leaders are employed on a freelance basis for the duration of the expedition and are also required to attend 2 or 3 training days or weekends with the expedition group prior to departure.

We aim to select leaders up to 18 months before an expedition so are always on the lookout for new staff.

Leaders are provided with return flights from the UK, travel visas (if applicable), comprehensive travel insurance and a competitive wage.

To apply for a Leader position the following are required:

• ML Summer training
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Experience of working with 14 - 18 year olds
• Have experience of travelling or living in the developing world
• Have significant leadership experience

Preferably, you should also:

• Hold a First aid qualification (must be held before employment)
• Be prepared for a Criminal Records Bureau check (CRB)
