At The Exploration Co we believe that overseas community projects and adventures are now becoming a new and exciting tool in the corporate sector and for those clients looking to take their employees out of the comfort zone and into a more challenging and rewarding learning environment.

Corporate Objectives
The Exploration Co provides programmes for a growing number of corporate clients who, through their commitment to increase social awareness, wish to employ projects and adventures as a means of employee stimulation. While these projects can act as a form of brand projection, this is not always the only motivation behind such activity. The aim is often to encourage, excite, challenge, and inform their employees at first hand, and in doing so give them the chance to become involved in a very different community and environment than the one they are accustomed to and to work alongside children and adults far less fortunate than themselves.

Operational Areas
We regularly operate community projects and adventures to destinations such as Kenya, Tanzania, Costa Rica and Iceland as well as Nepal and India. The Exploration Co team is at the forefront of providing new and exciting community projects and other adventures into emerging destinations not previously considered as viable locations. This is due to our experience in operating high quality adventures worldwide, together with our many long standing relationships with operators from the arctic regions, to the equator and beyond. As the saying goes ‘The world is your oyster'

Special Projects
The Exploration Co thrives on being able to make some of the most unusual adventure dreams a reality. Most recently we enabled the GKN Mission Everest project to go ahead. We secured the government permit and relevant permissions and handled the two and a half tonnes of logistics for the powered paraglide pilots, the GKN support team and the TV crew filming for UK Channel 4 and Discovery Channel.

We are the appointed logistic and recovery specialists for the forthcoming “Frontier of Space Project”, which plans to fly a hot air balloon to the very edge of space, and are presently planning a high altitude skydive into the Himalayas. Meanwhile, in the Artic Circle, we turned fiction to fact for 20th Century Fox to promote the worldwide launch of the film “The Day After Tomorrow”.

Other projects have included organising the Irvine Lovett Memorial Expedition to Mt Everest in Tibet, to commemorate the lives of these two exceptional men; and Northern India, rafting the Siang Gorge of the Brahmaputra River, one of the most notorious river gorges in the world.

The Exploration Co special projects service will plan, manage and provide all of the required services you may need so that you can get the most out of your special project, whatever it may be.

“Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that all was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, and make it possible.”
